How to Add a Break

How to add a break period

1. Click    to open the Global Settings

 

 

2. Click Time and Attendance to expand the options and select Breaks

 


3. Select an Assignment Group. Click here to learn about the Assignment Group  Hierarchy.

 

  •  Company – Applies to the whole company 
  •  Group – Applies to a group of employees such as a particular location or department
  •  Employee – Select one or more employees for individual application

 

4. Select a break type and fill out the necessary information 

 

 

Time of Day - Employees will only be allowed to take a break during the specified break window

 

 

    Worked hours - Employees will only be allowed to take the break after working a preset number of hours

     

                                                                                  (between the 4th and 5th hour worked)

     

    Floating break - Employees can breaks for a preset duration a preset number of times per shift

     

     

    Automatic break - Employee breaks will be added automatically for the specified duration

     

     

    5. Click      to add the Break
